Overseer Jimell D Roberts was born on February 7, to James R Brown & Nyema M Roberts. The ability to declare the word of God was recognized on Overseer Roberts at the early age of nine (9). Overseer Roberts began his studies under the watchful leadership of the late Pastor Arie Bell-Hardy, Hampton Va and the late Jane E. Jackson (grandmother).Overseer Roberts was ordain as minister and served as the minister of music at Apostolic Church of Christ Inc. He operated in this capacity for over 10 years. He is also gifted to play various different instruments (keyboard, Organ, bass and Drums). His anointing has made room for him, allowing him to be the Founder and visionary of several musical groups in the Hampton roads area. Groups such as : D’vine Purpose Crusade Choral, God’s Purpose, and The Ministry Music group.

Pastor Jimell D Roberts also has a B.A. In religious studies and is almost finished with his second Master’s degree in Theology. In May 2008, Pastor Ronzel Pretlow laid hands and he was ordain and confirmed in the office of a Prophet. Overseer heard the voice of God and answered the call to the office of Pastor in 2012 and began the ministry of Transformation Life Church International, where he serves as the Senior Pastor. Pastor Jimell Roberts the Presiding Prelate & Overseer of the Transformation Life Covenant Fellowship of Churches Inc. Which launched in October 2013.

Known to his members and others in his community as “Pastor J” he is designated for his powerful preaching and prophetic accuracy concerning the things of God. God has truly blessed him and its evident in the growth of his ministry. The ministry has grown from a small building holding only 25 persons to a newer edifice holding the capacity of 400. Overseer lives and teaches “A nation that used to be something else”.
